About Us

After spending the better part of his adult life working for huge corporate retailers, Steven decided to take his professional future into his own hands. By combining his retail management experience with his favorite leisure escape, gardening, Steven decided to open a hydroponics supply store exclusive to the town he has called home for more than 34 years, Windsor, CA.

With the support of his wife and business partner, Steven & Christal Farias opened The Hydroponics Company on October 1, 2009. Since opening, the pair have strongly committed to these goals…
